Are your items authentic?

OMI Jewelry guarantees that all of our items are 100% authentic, unless otherwise noted (for example, aftermarket diamonds added to a watch bezel or dial will be noted in a product listing).  We stand behind this guarantee and will offer you a full refund on any item found to not be completely authentic.

Is my watch waterproof?

Custom diamond watches are not waterproof. For more detailed information on a specific watch, contact us.

Are your photographs of the actual item?

Yes, all photos are of the actual item.

Does my item come with an original box and paperwork?

Items that include an original box and/or paperwork will be noted in the product description, and a picture of the original box and/or paperwork will be included in the listing. Items that do not include an original box are shipped in an OMI Jewelry presentation box.

A watch is listed with aftermarket or custom parts.  What does that mean?

Diamonds are at the heart of OMI Jewelry. We customize many of the watches we sell by adding diamonds to them, including on bezels, cases, dials, bracelets and clasps. Any aftermarket diamonds or gemstones that have been added to a watch are noted in the product listing.

What condition are your watches in?

OMI Jewelry takes pride in the quality of the products we offer.  All watches are shipped in ready-to-wear condition, but there may be subtle differences in the quality of the watches listed on our site.  Please note that condition refers solely to the aesthetics of a watch and not its movement. A watch’s movement will have been tested prior to shipment and will run according to OMI Jewelry standards.

  • Unworn: Watch has never been worn
     
  • Excellent: Watch shows signs of very light wear or light surface scratches
     
  • Very Good: Watch shows signs of light to normal wear
     
  • Good: Watch shows signs of moderate wear, and/or may have been polished several times

I just bought a watch.  How do I take care of it?

I just bought a watch and it stops working all the time.  Why is that?

You probably bought an automatic watch.  Congratulations, because you’re wearing a finely crafted timepiece.  Please refer to our Watch Care & Maintenance Guide for instructions on how to use your watch and tips for caring for it.

I don’t know my [watch/ring/bracelet] size.  What do I do?

Please contact usfor tips on how to measure your watch/ring/bracelet size.  You can also stop in to a local jeweler to have your wrist/finger sized or visit our showroom at 22 West 48th Street, Suite 206, New York, NY 10036, where our staff will be happy to assist you.

What if I’m still not sure of my size?

We offer free sizing services.  Just contact our support team and we’ll be happy to assist.  We also offer hassle free returns and exchanges, so you can rest easy knowing you’ll be taken care of until you’re satisfied.

what does the warranty include?

All watches are covered against mechanical defects for two years from the date of purchase. Watches that still have time remaining on their factory warranty will continue to be covered by the manufacturer, and OMI Jewelry’s warranty will apply for the remainder of the two‑year period once the factory warranty expires. All jewelry is covered for one year against defects in manufacturing and loose gemstones.

 

OMI Jewelry’s Extended Warranty is a service and repair warranty that covers eligible maintenance and repairs caused by normal wear and manufacturer‑related defects. It is designed to complement, but not replace, third‑party jewelry insurance. The Extended Warranty is not an insurance policy and does not cover loss, theft, mysterious disappearance, or catastrophic damage. We strongly recommend insuring your jewelry or watches separately through a provider such as Jewelers Mutual.

 

Most jewelry and watches purchased from OMI Jewelry are eligible for Extended Warranty coverage, subject to inspection, design limitations, and material constraints. All warranty services must be performed by OMI Jewelry or an authorized service provider, and repairs or alterations completed by third parties may void warranty coverage. All warranty services require inspection and approval to confirm eligibility.

 

The Jewelry Extended Warranty covers repairs and maintenance due to normal wear, including:

  • Manufacturer defects
  • Ring resizing (subject to design limitations)
  • Rhodium plating restoration, polishing, and finishing
  • Removal of tarnish and patina
  • Repair of broken jewelry when all original parts are present
  • Diamond, gemstone, and pearl maintenance
  • Securing stones in non‑prong settings
  • Prong tightening
  • Repair of damaged settings
  • Reshaping caused by normal wear
  • Repair of chains, clasps, earring backs, and cufflink backs
  • Replacement of damaged or missing stones up to 2.5mm per stone, with a maximum of two stones per item
  • Repair of enamel, onyx, ceramic, leather, wood, or carbon components
  • Reproduction of broken jewelry when no parts are missing

The Jewelry Extended Warranty does not cover loss, theft, mysterious disappearance, missing parts not presented with the item, damage caused by accidents, impact, misuse, abuse, or neglect, unauthorized repairs or alterations, excessive wear beyond normal use, or cosmetic damage that does not affect structural integrity. Missing stones are covered only when each stone is 2.5mm or smaller, up to two stones per item, and only when the loss is due to normal wear—not loss, impact, or misuse.

 

The Watches Extended Warranty covers service and repairs related to normal use and mechanical performance, including:

  • General maintenance
  • Professional cleaning and polishing
  • Repair or replacement of internal mechanical and movement components due to functional or manufacturer defects
  • Replacement of up to two diamonds lost from the bezel due to normal wear

The Watches Extended Warranty does not cover water or moisture damage, loss or detachment of the bezel, damage caused by impact, accidents, misuse, or unauthorized service, cosmetic damage beyond normal wear, or loss or theft of the watch or any components. Customized watches, including diamond bezel customization, may be eligible for limited coverage as outlined above, subject to inspection and approval.

 

OMI Jewelry reserves the right to repair or replace an item using comparable materials and craftsmanship at its discretion. Catastrophic damage—such as fire, flood, or major impact—is not covered under the Extended Warranty, and separate insurance is recommended for these risks. The Extended Warranty is designed to work alongside insurance, not replace it; insurance typically covers loss, theft, and major damage, while the warranty focuses on maintenance and repair.

Does my purchase come with an appraisal?

Every purchase comes with the option to include an OMI Jewelry appraisal for an additional fee.

How do I cancel my order?

Do you accept trade ins?

Please contact our support team and we’ll be happy to work with you on a trade toward your purchase.

Do you have a physical store?

Our showroom located at 22 W 48th St Suite 206 in New York City is generally open M-F 10a-6p ET.  Contact us  if you would like to make an appointment!

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major US credit cards, and wire transfers. Additionally, we’ve partnered with third-party providers  Affirm, Partial.ly, Acima, & more to offer our customers financing options.

Do you charge sales tax?

OMI Jewelry is obligated to collect sales tax on orders shipped to addresses in New York state.  Please consult your state’s tax laws for more information on which purchases are subject to sales tax.

What is Affirm?

OMI Jewelry has partnered with Affirm to offer transparent, quick financing to our customers, with no hidden fees or costs.  You will never owe more than what you agree to upfront. The total at checkout will always be what you actually pay. With Affirm, you split the price of your purchase into fixed monthly payment amounts that fit your budget.  Simply choose Affirm at checkout and you will be redirected to their site for payment options. If you are not satisfied with their terms, you don’t have to complete your order.

How does the Affirm credit check work?

The Affirm credit check takes just a few minutes.  Affirm performs a soft credit check, so creating an Affirm account, prequalifying, or applying for a loan do not impact your credit score.  Not until you actually take out financing through Affirm is there potential impact to your score.

My credit isn’t so good.  Can I still be approved for financing through Affirm?

Affirm makes the process of applying for financing quick and easy.  And since there’s no impact to your credit score for prequalification and applying, it can’t hurt to try!

What rates and payment terms are offered through Affirm?

Rates currently range from 0% APR or 10–36% APR, with payment terms ranging from 12, 18 , 36 months, For example, "on a $4000 purchase, you may pay $249.87 for 18 months with a 15.17% APR."

Is Affirm available to shoppers outside the United States?

At this time, Affirm is available only to shoppers residing in the United States (excluding Iowa and West Virginia due to state laws).  Affirm hopes to expand its services to customers outside the US in the future.

Are your shipments insured?

Yes.  Every shipment is insured, so you can rest easy knowing your order is covered against any unforeseen issues during shipment.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes.  We ship internationally via FedEx International Priority for a flat fee of $150.  Please refer to fedex.com for a current list of FedEx International Priority shipping destinations.  Note that duties and fees are not included in the purchase price and are the responsibility of the buyer. Please refer to your local customs office for more details.

When can I expect to receive my order?

Orders are typically fulfilled in 48 business hours, with delivery to you in 5-7 business days.  Special orders may take up to 10 business days to be processed.

Do you ship to PO boxes?

We do not currently ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

Do you offer delivery confirmation?

Delivery confirmation is required on all shipments, which means an adult must be present to sign for the package.

What is your return policy?

Do you offer free return shipping?

Yes.  We’ll send you a prepaid mailing label and instructions on how to securely pack and ship your item back to us.

Is your site secure?

We take security seriously.  Omijewelry.com is protected by industry standard 256-bit SSL encryption technology.  This is the same level of encryption used by large banks, so your information is completely secure.  We also will never sell or distribute your personal information to anyone.
